Confession: I’m the last girl on the planet without one. #31DayMarch

It's true. I love music, but I have no iPod. I've never had one, and still gaze upon them longingly as I pass the Apple display case at the store. It's not that I don't want one, it's just that there have always been other things that I wanted or needed more. Plus, there are so many options available now, it's not totally necessary to have an iPod, or any other MP3 player for that matter. Emmy Rossum: Sentimental Journey Album Review #SentimentalJourney

AlbumCover

I've been excited to see Beautiful Creatures for a while now, but I had no idea that one of its stars, Emmy Rossum, had an album coming out on January 29th too. Talk about a big month. I was delighted to be offered the opportunity to review a copy of Rossum's Album, Sentimental Journey. I was actually a little worried that the title, Changed, was an indicator that they were switching gears and going in a different direction with their sound, which has always been a perfect mix of country and rock. I'm not the kind of gal who likes when artists with a … [Read more...]

Yanni “Truth of Touch” Album Review

truth of touch review

When it comes to music, I genuinely enjoy most genres, so when I was offered the opportunity to review Yanni's newest album, Truth of Touch, I totally had to go for it. A girl never knows when she's going to find something new that she really likes. I listened to Truth of Touch several times, and each time picked out new, cool elements that he'd used to put his songs together. I have limited experience with Yanni's previous works, so I wasn't sure just exactly what to expect. Truth be told, I went into my first listen thinking the album would be a pleasant blend of melodies, that would … [Read more...]
