A couple years back, I was strolling through Hallmark when I saw a Mother’s Day display of Tervis Tumblers. What attracted me to them was their bright colors and fun “Mom” sentiments, but what made me click a picture with my phone and request one from the Brocker was how they were designed.

I was so excited on Mother’s Day morning when my boys brought my coffee to me in that cup. It was my instant favorite, and paired with a Tervis Tumbler travel lid, I could — and did — take it with me wherever I went.
The travel lid itself is pretty cool. Its design looks simple enough, but because of how the holes are placed, if the slider isn’t perfectly lined up for drinking, it’s VERY effective in preventing massive spills. On the flip side, if you want to share some of your drink with your kids — which happens to most moms pretty frequently — it pours like a dream when the slider is fully open. Plus, they’re the perfect size for straws, which I’m freakishly addicted to as well.
I loved my first Tervis tumbler so much, for everything from my coffee to my iced tea and water, that I requested another one in the 16 ounce size for this past Mother’s Day.
