Showing your husband or significant other how much you love him is as important to your family's happiness as actually saying the words "I love you." Retro Jessi Has no love for Hulu Plus

Last month the hubz and I started a Hulu Plus subscription so we could catch up on the most recent episodes of Bones and Glee. We figured $7.99 wasn't too shabby for the convenience so we went for it. Giddyup. It didn't take me long to become disenchanted with the service. Unlike Netflix or Xfinity On Demand, Hulu Plus drowns viewers in commercials. Since my kids will only be little once, my husband and I embrace the sloppy fun, because we feel that memories made are well worth a little extra cleanup. When my family was given the opportunity to enjoy some messy outdoor play with Crayola Outdoor Colored Bubbles and the Bubble Launcher I was totally excited! Everyone loves bubbles, … [Read more...]

Retro Jessi’s Guide to Social Media

retro jessi says

Being as “connected” as I am, I've worked with many social networks for personal reasons, business or both. And, the longer I float around the Net, the more I realize how differently people use each medium. If you've skipped around the web as much as I have, you can't help but notice some trends. Of course, there are always exceptions to every rule, but for the most part, each has its own unique feel. Facebook Facebook users are a mishmash of all types of users, from the angsty teens to grandparents who think every picture of a baby or unicorn is as precious as pie. Still, people … [Read more...]
