When I was much, much younger I worked at a nursing home first in the kitchen as a cook and then on the floor as a unit helper. I learn many valuable lessons there and wouldn’t trade that experience for the world. One extremely important lesson they taught us was how crucial it was for the health of ourselves and the clients we worked for to wash our hands. Now I must admit that working there did turn me into somewhat of a germaphobe. I cringe when I have no choice, but to go into a public rest room.
