Modify Watch Review and Giveaway – NOW CLOSED

I’ve always loved watches, and still do. They’re one of the few accessories that are as decorative as they are convenient and functional. What mom can’t appreciate that?

When I was given the chance to review (and giveaway — YAY!) a Modify Watch, I was super thrilled and just couldn’t resist! I mean come on, a watch that you can switch and swap around to match your outfit and mood? You can’t beat that kind of versatility. Sign. Me. Up.

Modify Watches are bringing back the old-school, chunky watch style, but with a twist. Their faces and bands are totally interchangeable. With 13 different faces and 9 colors of bands to choose from, the combinations are nearly endless. There are colors and styles for every member of your family from your fashion-conscious tween to your business-minded husband.

Picking out my Modify Watch was really the hardest part. There were so many combinations it was hard to choose the perfect face and band for me. Do I go with a more muted style and stick with everyday colors like gray or brown or do I play to my sassy side and get something a little more flashy like pink or yellow?

Decisions, decisions.

And that was just the band!

Then I had to choose the right watch face for my taste. I looked at the polka dots, pinstripes, plain and argyle…over and over. One of the cool features on the Modify website is that you can pick different combinations and see how they look together and next to other selected combos. I literally spent half an hour playing with the virtual watches until I finally settled on the yellow band with the argyle face.

When it came in the mail, I was surprised to find that the awesome folks at Modify sent me a spare band so I could see how quick and easy it was to switch from one look to another. And…oddly enough…they also sent me the gray band, which was my second choice. I think they might be psychic, but I only have my personal experience to back that theory up.

It may have taken 30 minutes for me to pick the band and face combination I wanted, but only took seconds to switch the face from one band to the other. Literally seconds.

The band is a soft and comfortable, but durable rubber, which holds the face in place, but is equally easy to manipulate to remove and replace the face. It couldn’t have been more simple to do, which is awesome for me, because I don’t have a lot of time in the morning to fool around with long, complicated processes in the name of fashion.

I love my Modify Watch and extra band, and want to buy more faces and bands to give me even more looks and styles.
