Freelancing: Our Version of the American Dream

It's the Fourth of July, which to most Americans means togetherness with family and friends, barbecues and fireworks. For a gal who works from home, usually seven days a week, it also makes me think of the lifestyle choices afforded me by our forefathers and the battles won for our freedom. My husband and I both lived the nine to five lifestyle for over a decade before exploring ways to work from home and still have enough left to save for retirement.
