As difficult as it can be to be a minority woman in 2011, I still know I'm respected and have the same opportunities as anyone else. The same can't be said for the women in the 60's who paved the way for the rest of us with their courage and diligence. When I found out The Help was being made into a movie, I was elated, and can't wait to watch it for myself.
